Sometimes you have to burn everything down in order to start over. That was the mentality Irish singer-songwriter Eoin French, better known as Talos, adopted in order to create his third studio album, Dear Chaos. Following his 2019 effort Far Out Dust, Dear Chaos is a portrait of destruction, rebirth, and renewal. Written and recorded in Castletownshend, Cork, Ireland over a two-and-a-half year period, Dear Chaos builds a unique world out of shimmering, atmospheric electronics, reverberating drums, and ethereal synths.
